About Ace

Ace Equipment began as Ace Rental and has specialized in providing high-quality construction equipment for over 10 years.

During that time the company’s reputation for providing excellent service has seen many of New Zealand’s leading construction firms such as Fulton Hogan, Transfield Services, Downer EDI, HEB and Hyway Stabilizers become regular clients. Whether it’s been long or short term hire they know they can rely on us to help keep their fleet productive and profitable.

Of course we also deal with a lot of smaller contractors and farmers and with a background as a Heavy Diesel Engineer, Company Director Clem Simpkin understands the importance of a ‘can-do’ attitude.

So when clients started asking us to source machinery we were more than willing to help. Over the years we have imported and exported literally hundreds of Earthmoving Machines and various other attachments, supplying customers in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific.

To meet demand we recently restructured the company forming a separate Machinery Sales Division. In addition to selling new and used heavy machinery, Ace Equipment has developed our own range of attachments designed especially to meet the rugged New Zealand conditions.  Although only newly released to market, the Robur range of attachments has been extensively field tested through our rental division and already has a strong customer base.
